Blanket Box Coffee Table

42" wide x 30" deep x 16 1/2" tall

A vintage storm window with its ventilation cover still intact forms the lid on this blanket box.  Built to store quilts and double as a coffee table, the box has been constructed of birch plywood with pine base-trim.  Two plywood trays allow for heavier items to be placed on top of the glass.

Friction lid stays ensure the lid stays open.  The box has been treated to a hand applied antique lookings paint and crackle finish.
