Welcome to my site and thanks for dropping in. This is about my love of building things using recycled heritage doors and windows and other relics from the past. As you will see, these have been restyled into functional furnishings for your home or cottage. Each is a unique, one-of-a-kind design and is hand-built using traditional methods when appropriate. I find beauty in imperfection, and that’s why these slightly out of square doors and windows are so appealing. I feel evidence of the human touch is very important, so old painted surfaces are preserved rather than stripped and items are finished using environmentally friendly paints and stains that have been hand applied. Vintage glass, mirror and hardware become important design elements. So come-on in and enjoy your visit.
